Neptune & Older Neptune from Hyperdimension Neptunia’s Movesets (All Star Smashers)
Big Nep, also known as Adult Neptune or Older Neptune, is a character in the Hyperdimension Neptunia franchise, first appearing briefly in the True Ending of Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory before making her proper introduction in Megadimension Neptunia VII. As her name and appearance implies, she is an older version of Neptune, hailing from the Ultra Dimension, who Nepgear meets in the Zero Dimension. Contrary to her mature look, however, she displays some semblance of innocence or defenselessness in her actions. Her hobby is filling her specimen book, the "Nep-Note," and travels to other dimensions in search of rare bugs. While she's called the "Older Neptune," it's still unclear whether she's actually an adult or if she's actually still just under aged. This Neptune shares most of the smaller Neptune's traits, such as an innocent and simple minded yet sometimes troublesome way of thinking, and a hatred of eggplants. Generally, her personality is in between the Hyper Dimension Neptune, bearing some aspects of both her normal and HDD forms. She appears in All Star Smashers as Neptune's Memory Fighter.
How to Unlock[]

Playstyle[]
Compared to her smaller self, Neptune's Ultradimension self is older and more mature, yet retains her happy go lucky nature to the point where they seem as identical as they are different. Not only does this give more moveset parallels to her Hyperdimension counterpart, but it generally grants more precision with less risk thus more consistent success.
Entrance: Dimension Trip[]
Big Nep falls into the stage through a dimensional portal.
Move Origin[]
This comes from the very beginning of Big Nep's first VR Event in Megadimension Neptunia VIIR, where she falls through and crashes into the ceiling of the player's bedroom.
Neutral B: Pudding[]
Similar to her smaller counterpart, Big Nep's Neutral B involves the usage of pudding. However, Big Nep's version of the move can actually be charged, by entering a stance while holding two giant spoons. You can aim left or right to determine where to place the pudding using the red disc on the floor. Once you release the button, a giant pudding will drop down from the sky, in a similar fashion to Talking Joe's Birthday Cake, which can knock opponents down. You can even use the move on Big Nep herself to launch her upwards, but much like Small Nep, you can only move vertically. This move can also be activated in the air, and you can hold the B button to leap even higher, but only when uninterrupted. Additionally, the properties of Big Nep's pudding is watered down compared to Small Nep's pudding, as Big Nep's will crumble instantly.
Move Origin[]
Just like her younger self, Big Nep is also a notorious lover of pudding. This move in particular is based on one of the special attacks she can do in Megadimension Neptunia VII, where she is able to summon a giant pudding to damage enemies.
Side-B: Victory Cycle[]
Big Nep gets on her motorcycle, which has both starting and finishing hitboxes. Unlike the Nep Bike, Big Nep's bike has no mods, so to compensate, she instead can boost herself forward, leaving behind a random game that can't be played in the midst of a battle. Each game remains on the stage for 5 seconds before it's "forgotten". You also can't dismount the bike in the middle of a boost so be careful.
Move Origin[]
Unlike her younger self, Big Nep owns a motorcycle. It first appeared in the anime before making a more major appearance in Big Nep's starring role, Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution.
Up-B: Generator Unit[]
Since Big Nep is not a goddess like her smaller self, she will instead use her generator unit to fly. And since Share Energy doesn't affect humans, she unfortunately can't use it as a shield. So to make up for this, Big Nep's generator unit will appear to pick her up from behind, launching her upwards. Offence is the best defence, after all. While she's in her generator unit, you're able to slash surrounding enemies by pressing either A or B for further ranged shots. After your chosen starter move, Big Nep will float for a bit before hitting a follow-up attack. Otherwise thrust again before you trigger your helpless animation.
Move Origin[]
During the third OVA of the anime, Big Nep helps Nepgear save the Planeptune Costume Festival by coming out with an explosive entrance, before changing to her Generator Unit costume to amaze the crowd. Nepgear later joins in by transforming into Purple Sister and starts flying around with her.
Down-B: Nep-Note[]
Big Nep takes out the Nep-Note. In this state which can't be cancelled, you will be able to seal half of an opponent's damage output inside the book. If successful, you may borrow a quarter of their attack power for yourself until the effect returns to its rightful owner. The duration lasts the same amount of time as the other Neptune's Down-B. While multiple opponents' outputs can be sealed, neither your attack output nor its duration can be stacked. Whatever the case, you can additionally hold down B to release a swarm of bugs, its range decreasing until you let go. The more bugs freed in a single swarm, the weaker the output absorption will be under a dependable cooldown.
Move Origin[]
Big Nep's biggest hobby is travelling to various dimensions to capture all sorts of different bugs and add them to her Nep-Note. She's been seen doing this in the games she's appeared in, as well as the anime.
Final Smash: Psychostock Phase[]
Big Nep attempts to prepare for her Final Smash, only for Croire to escape from the Nep-Note, and end up retrieving a bunch of game stock to summon Psychostock to the stage. Once it's out, Psychostock will independently shoot out in all 8 directions before leaving. When fighting multiple opponents however, Croire will try to seal a nearby opponent after her little stock hunt, and will fuse said opponent and Psychostock into one opponent. A full list of fusions can be found here. Regardless, the fusion will actually be able to move around. And while the size of both versions of Psychostock depend on the amount of forgotten stock, its power will only increase with an opponent sealed. Eventually, the sealed victim will return to normal. If Croire doesn't manage to seal anyone, the regular Psychostock will be summoned instead.
Move Origin[]
During the climax of Game Maker R:Evolution, Croire hunts for a bunch of stock games and ends up unleashing a monster known a Psychostock. Later on, she fuses Psychostock and Arfoire into one being, merging the two into a monster known as Psyfoire. This is the inspiration for how Croire is able to merge Psychostock with Big Nep's opponents in ASS.

Angry Boss Codec[]
Angry Boss: The funk's going on here? Nep-Nep got big all over!
Jeremy Gilman: Apparently the Nepster aged up and stuff.
Angry Boss: What? Since when did goddesses age?
Paul Douglas: Boss, I object to your disbelief. I mean, Caillou's been four years old since 1997.
Owen Maddox: Boss, we have news that this version of her is actually from another dimension...
Angry Boss: ...
Maddox: What's the matter? Cat got your tongue?
Angry Boss: Out of my planet!
*Maddox leaves and is replaced with Victor Vam Pire*
Angry Boss: Victor, you're the blood expert. Do you have anything to confirm about this sorcery?
Vam Pire: Si, I can comfortably confirm that Neptor is indeed a human.
*Croire unexpectedly appears, interrupting the codec*
Croire: Well yes but actually no.
Angry Boss: What. The hell. Is this?
Croire: Do you not have a better first thing to say whenever you encounter a tome? Oh my, how rewd.
Maddox: And who might you just be?
Croire: The name's Croire.
Angry Boss: OWEN, TELL THAT LITTLE BUG TO SCRAM! AT ONCE!
Croire: Oi, I am not a bug! I'm merely here to help you out with nothing in exchange. Can't you just be honored for once? Back to the subject at hand, this version of Neptune is actually from a dimension where no one is born a goddess, therefore she doesn't have the power of the Neptune you already recall.
Angry Boss: Another alternate version of someone? Isn't that a little cliché at this point?
Croire: Well that's exactly why I'm here- To make history more interesting to record. Be careful though since despite her lower hierarchy, she fights a lot more responsibility, decreasing her chances of defeat. Oh, and if she drops any video games behind when on her little bike, just let them be. You don't look like someone who games anyway.
Angry Boss: And how exactly do I benefit from that specific piece of advice?
Croire: Don't worry about it, they're harmless. Under fighting conditions, all they'll be doing is adding to my arsenal anyway.
Fluttershy: (If unplayed stock having emotions are a thing in that dimension, then she's definitely cooking something...)
Angry Boss: Well Croar, you're an odd fellow but I must say... at least you're not Bruceton.
Croire: (Here we go again with the mispronunciations.)
*Big Nep appears to catch Croire and put her back in the Nep-Note*
Big Nep: Gotcha!
Croire: *From inside the Nep-Note* Mmrph! Lemme out of here you daughter of a-
Big Nep: Sorry to slash and dash, old man. I just hope Crostie here isn't causing you any trouble. Now I better Nep off before people click off this video, my world needs me anyway!
*Big Nep leaves*
Angry Boss: ... I should really find out who suggested this peculiar pair someday.
