All Star Smashers Memory Fighter- Branestawm (The Incredible Adventures Of Professor Branestawm)
Professor Theophilus Branestawm is the main protagonist of the Professor Branestawm series of children's books, created by British author Norman Hunter. This version of Branestawm comes from the 2014 hour-long BBC television film adaptation and its 2015 sequel, being portrayed by Harry Hill. He appears in All Star Smashers as Harry's Memory Fighter.
How to unlock[]

Playstyle[]
Professor Branestawm is a rare instance Harry Hill played a character besides himself. While this gives his moves inevitable similarities, Harry plays Branestawm true to his original books. As he now fits the role of an eccentric, absent-minded professor, Harry sacrifices his IRL mobility with access to higher damage outputs.
Entrance: Spring Clean[]
Branestawm is sent flying out of a window and onto the battlefield.
Move Origin[]
Neutral B: Live Liquid[]
Branestawm shoots a slippery splash of liquid onto the floor. You can land an aerial splat for a defence drop during the spiral. But if you hold the B button, Branestawm will put the liquid into the All Star Smashers Memoirs album, and an old photo of himself will become a live flashback. Since they're the same person, any moment the flashback doesn't flinch will heal the regular Branestawm. But eventually, the liquid will dry out, reverting back into a photo. Branestawm cannot cancel his reminiscing, and if he flinches, then he'll accidentally spill liquid onto the intruder's photos instead, causing their photo to become a live flashback instead, giving the same effect, at the cost of the liquid drying up faster. A full list of all of the photos can be found here. The rule regarding other photos also applies to other effects depending on siding status. If hit by something with no siding, no flashbacks will appear. To add to Branestawm's chaotic style, flashbacks can co-exist at the same time, just one per character.

Side-B: Many Pairs of Glasses[]
Branestawm gets on his special bike and pedals forward. You can recklessly cycle until colliding with something or pressing B. Live photos also count as obstacles, so be careful. Hopping on in midair lunges the bike forward before doing a massive nosedive. While this seems like a generic transportation move, the move's name comes into play when pressing A under a directional input to aid Branestawm with specific scenarios in mind, as he'll put on glasses with different effects.
- Press Front A for red glasses, which enable Branestawm to cycle faster and ram through others without him falling over. But he'll cycle fast enough to dry out the liquid in a single blow, so be careful where you put the glasses on if it's your photo.
- Press A for green glasses which pull the brakes. These are especially useful at sparing photos and breaking falls.
- Press Up A for blue glasses, which makes Branestawm jump into its midair variant. If activated when in the air, the wheelie simply acts as an extra jump.
- And finally, press Down B for yellow glasses, which deflects projectiles for more speed and power.
You can only wear one pair of glasses per ride.
Move Origin[]
Up-B: Self-Activated Camellia Sinensis Infusion Device[]
Branestawm summons his Self-Activated Camellia Sinensis Infusion Device, or Tea-Making Machine for short. Branestawm can steer horizontally, while the milk from the tea propels him upwards and slows his fall when done. The dash controls also blast a slice of cake in the opposite direction as the launching power launches him away from it. The catch for this feature is that Branestawm's cakes are served exclusively for his opponents, which can heal them. But luckily for Branestawm, he can pick them up manually and throw them as projectiles. To boost your healing rate, don't forget to feed your past self, as well as teammates.
Move Origin[]
Down-B: Canned Cuckoo[]
Branestawm builds an artificial cuckoo bird made of various metal and wooden objects. He must wait 20 seconds before he can invent another one. Every 5 seconds, the attached hammer awakens more of the bird's power, maxing at 3 boosts. After the 4th whack, the bird will exhaust itself and self-destruct, damaging opponents nearby. You can land a projectile on the cuckoo to reposition itself towards whoever aimed at it, the inflicting damage depending on any mallet whacks. Plus, the cuckoo always uses a giant bill to guard itself from Live Liquid from the first frame, so the bill can come to life in an attempt to charge an opponent, at the front early. The stronger the cuckoo, the more versatile the bill's range will be. Finally, in the case of enough melee abuse, it will try to flock over the attacker and near bystanders. Once again, the damage rate the raid racks up depends on the number of mallet hits.
Move Origin[]
Final Smash: Football Father[]
Branestawm builds a Robot Father, who kicks a football forward. If the ball lands, a father-son game of catch takes place between the Robot Father and the person he kicked with the football. As Branestawm, you can adjust the robot's aim while kicking with A or B. If you idle for 1 second or press the button alone, then he'll aim randomly. You also cannot pass mid-line, to ensure that it's a fair bonding game. You can return the ball with attacks but getting hit by the ball is also enough to count, as the Robot Father doesn't have a return function. But if you fail the game of football, then the Robot Father will mistake you for a football and continuously kick you until you get KO'd. He can also damage others during his kicking rampage, and the football he drops can be a projectile. You must successfully return the ball thrice to get rid of the Robot Father and avoid his kicks.

Trivia[]
- Much like his actor, Branestawm has his own Shield Special called Electric Glasses, in which he connects ANY attack with an electric handshake. During his stance, he can chuck his subject wherever he wants before dropping them. But if he fails to grasp a body, then he won't recover nearly as fast as his comedic actor would.
