All Star Smashers Wiki

Ottomard "Otto" Hill is the evil twin brother of Harry Hill and is the main antagonist of the 2013 film, The Harry Hill Movie. He was abandoned by his grandmother when he was younger, because she could never tell him apart from Harry, and ended up being raised by Alsatians. So he decided to get revenge by kidnapping Harry's pet hamster Abu with the help of his henchmen, Ed and Kisko.

How to unlock[]

Clear Classic Safari as Harry Hill.

Playstyle[]

In The Harry Hill Movie, Otto hires two henchmen to kidnap his twin's hamster but never reunites with him in person until the film's climax. Going down that road made him physically inactive, giving him slower movement and clumsy execution with potentially sweet spot results. Not a single special is done on his own and this over-reliance even boils down to many of his normals. For instance, he can move around independently while the combo phase of his jabs is still active until he commands another attack using Ed. And his Side Smash has the option to dodge Kisko's punch in exchange for less range and impact, though he won't stick much longer regardless of the Side-B. And yes, Nan joins the ride as well for lore reasons explained in the Hill's Classic Safari dialogue. Such complications can be deemed as a nod to the movie as a whole feeling more like a circus act than a serious piece of writing.

Entrance: This Is It![]

Otto spins on a chair and says "Welcome back to Blackpole!"

Move Origin[]

While looking for Abu, Harry and Nan find a trail of Hula Hoops on the ground, which leads them to a door labelled "This Is It!", revealing Otto's lair and finally reuniting the two twins, as he welcomes his twin and grandmother back to Blackpole.

Neutral B: Plastination[]

Otto commands Ed, who throws a Plastination barrel forward which breaks upon contact. On the ground, a 5 second puddle leaks out, which causes people who walk on it to be stuck to the ground. But if it lands on someone first, expect up to a 10 second paralysis depending on their percentage. Catch someone in the air to slow down their land movement for the respective amount of time. The methods for all properties also apply to any kind of assists, as long as they're vulnerable. However, Otto must be weary as Plastination can always backfire but only if deflected or reversed. Take note that the taxidermy's defence drop only occurs during backfire and can be cancelled early if an impactful enough blow lands. With an effect already present, thrown barrels will be empty.

Move Origin[]

After finally reuniting with Otto, Harry took a look at his evil twin's nefarious plan, and correctly deducted that it was Plastination. When asked by Otto how he knew that, Harry lied that it was just a hunch, when in reality, Plastination was labelled all over the lair.

Side-B: A Big Con3[]

Ed and Kisko drive Otto forward in a car disguised as a giant traffic cone. The "camouflaged" cone disguise acts as a moving wall. (They'll never suspect a thing!) This means Otto won't only be immune to traps but can also claim and reposition them during combat. To ram into traffic, you must embrace the steering. But there's a sudden speed boost after the first bump so be careful. When done in midair, the cone thrusts forward but crash lands, which can damage Otto as well as opponents. But you can still escape quickly to prevent this. You can also press A to rummage through a packet of Hula Hoops to rack up quick damage to ambushers from behind, or just tap B to safely dismount. Watch out for the cone's pointy roof, as it causes more damage than the rest of the cone.

Move Origin[]

At one point during the movie, Ed and Kisko disguise their car as a giant cone so that they can tail Harry, Nan and Abu without being seen.

Up-B: NAN-100Y[]

Nan pilots her helicopter and brings Otto upwards. The helicopter flies in an arch until a dismount, but you can press A to hop off early. Should Otto dismount, the blades do less damage but much more knockback. These characteristics are the result of Otto's diet of barbecued beef. If you press B, then Nan will kick Otto forwards, which can damage Otto, but also spike opponents.

Move Origin[]

During the climax of the movie, Nan arrives to save Harry in a helicopter, as she had experience as a pilot in the past. Although Harry managed to jump off Blackpool Tower and grab on to the bottom of the helicopter, Otto latched on to Harry, causing his grip to begin slipping.

Down-B: La Master Du Deezguys[]

Otto summons Renard Depardieu, Master of Disguise, who swipes horizontally to replace the opponent temporarily with his totally convincing "deezguys". He can move back and forth and anyone is free to attack, which adds to the hostage's percentage. After a maximum of 10 seconds, depending on the subject's damage before the kidnap, Renard will squirt ketchup at the hostage, then retreat for a 15 second cooldown. But this can also happen if the opponent mashes enough, they fall off a ledge, or by throwing a total of 50% at the "deezguys". Hence some of these methods, a cheap KO is impossible. If you catch someone close enough, Renard will instead give Otto a more convincing disguise, making Otto look exactly like the victim. In this state, Otto is able to copy the opponent's moves, stats and even hitboxes. You can revert to normal by either taunting or taking enough damage like Kirby.

Move Origin[]

After multiple failed attempts from Ed and Kisko to kidnap Abu, Otto declares that enough is enough, and decides to bring in Renard Depardieu, who disguises himself as Abu, while Ed and Kisko kidnap the real Abu for Otto. Otto's ability to disguise himself comes from a scene in the movie where he tricks Abu by disguising himself as Harry before revealing his true self in order to re-kidnap Abu.

Final Smash: Use Your Brains![]

Otto releases The Brains, who enter the stage from both sides, while Otto, Ed and Kisko cheer them on. Both brains can only be controlled vertically during their pursuit, and they will devour anyone who has 100% damage. Once they collide into each other, an explosion happens, which causes one of the brains to perish, while the surviving brain runs away in terror. The surviving brain can still ram into others in a straight line while running for their dear life.

Move Origin[]

During the climax of the movie, after Abu frees himself from Harry's machine, Otto commands Ed to "Release the Brains!", unleashing two anthropomorphic brain monsters after Harry and Nan. Once they have the two cornered, the pair are unexpectedly saved by Barney Cull, who kills one of the brains with a rocket launcher while the other one retreats in panic.

Angry Boss Codec[]

Angry Boss: Who the heck is this fat guy with the mustache?

Owen: Boss, that's Harry Hill's evil twin, Otto Hill. He made his first and only appearance in The Harry Hill Movie, so he's not that famous among All Star Smashers fans.

AB: Are you funking kidding me? Isn't that just Matt Lucas dressed up as Otto Hill?

Owen: To be honest, I don't know. He seems pretty convinced he's Otto Hill.

AB: Whatever. So, are his moves similar to Harry's moves?

Owen: Not necessarily. His moves are completely different, so you'll have to watch out for Otto's style of fighting.

AB: Okay. Anything else you have to tell me?

Owen: Yeah. Fancy a Hula Hoop?

AB: Of course I don't, you fool! You know I'm more of a Pringles guy.

Owen: Well, I guess you'll have to try to resist the smell of barbecue beef.
